Position Overview
Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced
Multi-Discipline NDT Technician to join our Oil & Gas division. This role focuses on non-destructive testing across piping, pipeline, and equipment inspection projects, requiring expertise in multiple NDT methodologies and a commitment to safety and quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform multi-discipline non-destructive testing using UT, MT, PT, PMI, and HT methodologies
- Inspect piping, pipeline systems, and associated equipment for defects and compliance
- Select appropriate inspection methods based on material, geometry, and regulatory requirements
- Interpret indications and defects according to relevant standards and procedures
- Document findings and prepare accurate inspection reports
- Adhere strictly to technical procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain equipment calibration and perform routine maintenance
- Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance objectives
Education
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on NDT experience in Oil & Gas sector
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
- Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Positive Material Identification (PMI)
- Hardness Testing (HT)
- Proven experience inspecting piping, pipelines, and equipment
Certifications
- ASNT Level II Certification in UT/MT/PT (current and valid)
