Job Responsibilities
Assist in the daily operations of the Customer Service Department.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns regarding in-patient, out-patient, billing, admissions, professional fees, and other hospital services.
Provide accurate information and timely assistance to patients, clients, and visitors.
Coordinate with different departments to address customer concerns and service requests.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
Support the implementation of customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to customer service operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or any related field.
Experience: At least 12 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, HMO, or a related field is preferred.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Basic knowledge of hospital processes, HMO transactions, billing, admissions, and insurance procedures is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer operations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
