Role Overview
We are looking for a AWS Voice Cloud Developer to support the build and configuration of Amazon Connect voice solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role not a call center operations or BPO support position. The candidate will work under senior guidance to develop contact flows, Lambda functions, and platform integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and configure Amazon Connect contact flows, IVR logic, and routing rules under architectural guidance
Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions (Node.js / Python) to support voice workflow automation
Assist in telephony routing configuration, number management, and queue setup
Support API-based integrations between Amazon Connect and backend/external systems
Execute unit testing, SIT support, and defect triage on voice flows and integrations
Maintain documentation for contact flow designs, integration specs, and configuration changes
Troubleshoot and resolve voice platform issues in development and test environments
Mandatory Technical Skills
Must have 3 years of related experience
Minimum 612 months hands-on Amazon Connect development (contact flows + Lambda)
Demonstrated experience in solution build, not call center operations or agent support
Has contributed to at least 1 Amazon Connect implementation (partial or full lifecycle)
Amazon Connect - Hands-on experience configuring contact flows, queues, and routing profiles
AWS Lambda - Ability to write and debug Lambda functions (Node.js or Python)
AWS Services - Working knowledge of API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch
Telephony - Basic understanding of IVR design, call flow logic, and voice channel concepts
Development - Solid fundamentals in at least one language (Python / Node.js / JavaScript)
Nice To Have
Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integration experience (CTI adapter, voice-to-case)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation / CDK)
Exposure to omnichannel contact center solutions (voice, chat, tasks)
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Developer Associate certification
