The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for driving the vision, development, and continuous improvement of the bank’s digital products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the PO leads product discovery, gathers and prioritizes requirements, and ensures product solutions align with business objectives and customer needs.


The role serves as the key link between business and technology teams, translating strategic goals into clear, actionable requirements for delivery. The PO oversees product delivery from requirements definition through testing and implementation, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and user outcomes. This position requires a highly accountable, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering valuable and impactful digital experiences.


Key Responsibilities


Product Ownership

  • Define product goals, requirements, and success measures with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for business partners on product requirements and scope.
  • Manage and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Create and maintain epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Represent customer needs and translate feedback into product enhancements.
  • Work closely with business, technology, and project teams to deliver solutions.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.


Product Delivery & Execution

  • Ensure requirements are complete and ready for development.
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to support successful delivery.
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and planning sessions.
  • Validate deliverables to ensure they meet business and quality expectations.


Product Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Track product performance using data, metrics, and user feedback.
  • Work with support and operations teams to resolve issues and improve the product.
  • Participate in reviews and lessons learned to enhance future product delivery.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve product value, customer experience, and business outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Design, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Digital Product Development.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid delivery environments (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Strong customer focus with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accountability.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working on digital platforms within banking, fintech, large-scale digital initiatives, or startup environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
  • Curious, solutions-oriented, and driven to improve products and processes.
  • Eager to collaborate with others and continuously learn and grow.
