Job Summary
Responsible for rendering services/ assistance in the field of general poultry production, daily monitoring of flock status of contract growing farms to assure better performance. Implement management standard operating procedures, method of stock control, record keeping and reporting relevant to the farm operations, forecasting of chick placement and harvest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare facilities for farm arrival / departure of birds.
- Coordinates the movement and transport of birds safely and effectively without undue stress.
- Coordinates and conduct appropriate checks, updates, keep records as relevant, monitor and report on performance and then take appropriate action.
- Growing Procedures –prepare, monitor, and maintain necessary equipment (Ventilation equipment, heaters, feed and water equipment, bird weighing equipment, lighting) and appropriate conditions for young flock (brooding period).
- Coordinate forecasted chick placement to hatchery.
- Daily monitoring of CG flock status, check feeds inventory, animal health product and weighing sampling.
- Inform and send updated data of flock to immediate superior.
- Close monitoring of forecasted harvest flock and coordinate to salesman and dressing plant coordinator for scheduling of harvest
- Updating mortality report sheet during and after harvest days to determine the farm performance.
- Elevates farm concern to immediate superior.
- Request feeds validation of feeds retrieval.
- Issue feeds transfer slip for feeds retrieval transfers.
- Assigned to any relevant task as may be needed by immediate superior from time to time.
- Follow compliance to company rules and regulations, actively participate in company-sponsored programs, and comply with quality, environmental, health and safety rules and regulations of the company.
Qualification
- Graduate of 4-year course BS Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Animal Science.
- Knowledge in animal handling.
- Knowledge in general poultry production.
- Capable and willing to be assigned in different Vitarich poultry farm location.
- Capable of utilizing various tools in poultry farms.
- Can manage various farm effectively.
