In your day-to-day, you will 👇🏼
- Edit high-quality long-form podcast episodes for various digital platforms.
- Transform raw footage into polished, engaging content through seamless editing and storytelling.
- Create clean, engaging edits with smooth pacing, transitions and professional audio.
- Enhance videos with motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, B-roll and visual elements where appropriate.
- Perform basic colour correction and audio balancing to ensure a polished final product.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand creative direction and maintain brand consistency.
- Organise project files and manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Export videos in the correct formats for different platforms.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and produce high-quality revisions.
- Stay up to date with podcast editing trends, best practices and audience engagement techniques.
Skills You Have 🚀
- At least 5 years of experience in video editing for social media and digital content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing podcast video content and storytelling capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar professional editing software.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics software.
- Strong eye for visual storytelling, shot selection, pacing, and content flow.
- Strong audio editing and synchronisation skills.
- Experience adding captions, graphics and branded visual assets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team.
