Junior Full Stack Developer
About The Role
The Citco Governance Services Development Team is currently looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with experience in .Net, React, SQL and Restful Web Services. Responsibilities will primarily include new development, development of enhancements, contribution to system releases and third-level support as required. You will be working in a cross-functional team to build, test and deliver applications for the financial services industry. You will be interfacing with a local Dev Manager and stakeholders in Europe and North America and some workday offset will be required.
Backend Development
- 1-2 years of experience in .NET development (.NET Core, C#)
- Basic understanding of common design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
- Familiarity with software architecture concepts
Frontend Development
- Basic experience with front-end technologies:
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- React (entry-level)
- Willingness to learn React ecosystem (Redux and React Hooks)
Database & API
- Basic knowledge of SQL relational databases
- Familiarity with RESTful API concepts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing applications using .NET Core and React
- Help implement user interfaces under guidance
- Participate in technical discussions to learn and contribute
- Collaborate with team members on projects
- Learn to troubleshoot technical issues
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of software design principles
- Eagerness to learn web application development
- Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
