What is the Manager, Finance role?
The
Manager, Finance leads the organization's treasury, billing and collections, financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis functions. This role is responsible for optimizing cash flow, improving working capital, developing financial models, and providing data-driven recommendations that support sustainable growth while ensuring strong financial governance and operational excellence.

- Ensure that 1Aviation's Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
- Promote compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, Customer Service, and financial governance standards.
- Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
- Manage banking relationships, financial facilities, and funding requirements.
- Supervise billing, accounts receivable, collections, and credit control processes.
- Monitor collection performance and recommend strategies to improve cash conversion.
- Prepare financial analyses, business cases, pricing models, and profitability assessments.
- Develop financial forecasts, rolling projections, and management reports that support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze budget versus actual performance and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, cost optimization, and operational initiatives.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting for executive management.
- Support audit requirements and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.
✅ What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, treasury, financial planning, budgeting, business analysis, or related finance functions
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of treasury management, cash flow management, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis
- Experience in financial modeling, pricing, costing, and business case development
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and working capital management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
