- Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and medallion architecture.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Ensure robust data governance and compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of cloud data platforms and SQL-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering initiatives with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership in enterprise data modeling and performance tuning.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering practices.
- Mentor and lead a team of data engineers to achieve operational excellence.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Executive Director of Data Platform and Engineering should have:
- Strong expertise in data engineering, enterprise data modeling, and medallion architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance and performance tuning.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
