The Senior Maintenance Engineer ensures the execution and documentation of maintenance programs and activities to support the company’s goal of optimizing or increasing equipment uptime.
- Optimizes functionality, reliability, and safety of production facilities, equipment, and systems by conducting regular inspections, emergency and planned maintenance and repairs
- Prepares optimum annual preventive maintenance (PM) plan and generates PM checklist in consideration of equipment history, maintenance frequency, and activities
- Operates and ensures the timely availability of utility equipment, such as Medium-Voltage Switchgear, Air Compressors, Fire Pumps, Generators, and a Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Champions and implements safety and housekeeping standards and drives the timely resolution of audit findings, ensuring that monthly target indices are met
- Contributes to operational efficiency in addressing equipment issues and preventing recurrence by maintaining an accurate and complete record of maintenance activities, such as documentation of repairs and modifications
- Identifies opportunities and implements projects to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and efficiency
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or similar field)
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry environment
- Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Programming and Commissioning
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafting
- Ability to operate maintenance power tools and test instruments
