IBM WebSphere MQ Technical Lead
As an
Application Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and configuration of applications, acting as the primary point of contact for the team and stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the team, making key technical and delivery decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the application and related technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the application team to ensure high performance.
- Take ownership of technical and delivery-related decisions for the team.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive key project decisions.
- Provide solutions to technical and operational challenges within the team and across teams.
- Lead the end-to-end application development and support process.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IBM Systems Administration, preferably with IBM Mainframe MQ environments.
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Strong understanding of application development and integration processes.
- Proven experience in leading and managing development or support teams.
- Solid knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
