The Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative – Tax Specialist to join our Sales Tax Operations team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to sales tax inquiries and issues.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to customer concerns regarding tax filings, payments, and compliance.
- Support clients with document submissions and data validation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Work Setup
- WFH but Onsite for 2-3 months for the training
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 6 months of accounting/financial experience, particularly in the BPO, and preferably has worked with taxation and bookkeeping (Quickbooks, Zero, Xerox, etc.)
- You have working knowledge of bookkeeping.
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- You pay close attention to detail and deliver work of a high standard.
- You are highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
- Must have a stable internet connection and a conducive WFH setup
