Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Audio Engineer to work on a contractor basis. This role involves applying expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world audio input. By conducting detailed quality assurance, assessing audio issues, and performing cleanup and restoration tasks, you will shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform in the music production industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed quality assurance on audio recordings, identifying and documenting artifacts or anomalies to ensure accurate AI model training data.
• Assess the severity of audio issues and classify them accurately for AI model training use, applying your knowledge of audio quality standards.
• Perform audio cleanup and restoration tasks to prepare high-quality audio for AI model training, using industry-standard audio tools.
• Collaborate with a global team to ensure consistent audio quality standards and efficient task prioritization.
• Use critical listening skills to evaluate audio recordings and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong expertise in audio quality assurance, with a keen ear for identifying and documenting artifacts or anomalies in audio recordings.
• Experience with industry-standard audio tools, such as studio monitors and high-end headphones, for accurate audio evaluation and restoration.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to report issues and collaborate with team members effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with AI/ML data labeling and quality control processes, with a basic understanding of AI model training requirements.
