Prepare accounting journal entries for monthly close transactional activities, including but focused on to: inventory, accruals & payroll
Manage construction in progress, in partnership with business contacts
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations for high risk general ledger accounts
Provide general ledger coding to colleagues in PtP and Intercompany
Annual supplemental reporting to Corporate through Hyperion
Support requests from external and internal auditors as well as various groups company-wide
Assist in maintenance of documentation of policies, procedures and controls. Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting policies, procedures and controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
Preparation and submission of government and other agency returns, including but not limited to government statistics returns
Drive and participate in process improvement initiatives
Complete ad-hoc projects as requested
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in RtR Operational Accounting Analyst role, or equivalent
Accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the role
Previous experience in a large scale organisation would be beneficial
