Cybersecurity Analyst
Threat Monitoring and Detection
Monitor event logs and security alerts across critical systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Use appropriate security tools and defined processes to monitor network traffic.
Analyze logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches.
Incident Response
Investigate and escalate information security incidents in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Contain and mitigate threats, perform root cause analysis, and apply required fixes as directed by the Cybersecurity Lead.
Vulnerability Management
Assist with vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
Perform routine security assessments of servers, applications, and network devices.
Policies and Procedures Management
Assist in the development and updating of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Technical & Professional Development
Evaluate and recommend appropriate security tools and controls for system hardening and vulnerability mitigation.
Stay informed on the latest vulnerabilities, threats, and emerging security technologies.
Participate in the assessment of new systems and provide recommendations on security controls.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
