We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Food & Beverage Research & Development Assistant to support the Research and Development team in creating, testing, and improving food and beverage products. The role involves assisting in product formulation, conducting trials, preparing samples, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about food innovation, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and improvement of food and beverage products.
- Prepare ingredients, samples, and formulations for product trials and testing.
- Conduct laboratory and kitchen experiments following established procedures.
- Record and analyze test results, observations, and product data accurately.
- Support sensory evaluations and product quality assessments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients, materials, and laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient sourcing and sample requests.
- Assist in documenting formulations, standard recipes, and technical reports.
- Perform other R&D-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in food manufacturing or R&D is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food processing, formulation, and quality control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards such as GMP and HACCP is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately record and interpret data.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to work in laboratory, kitchen, and production environments as needed.
