PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in procurement administration, purchasing operations, supplier coordination, or sourcing activities is required
  • Solid background in managing the complete purchasing workflow from request processing up to delivery completion
  • Familiar with supplier sourcing, vendor accreditation, quotation comparison, and procurement planning
  • Experienced in coordinating with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, product availability, and order fulfillment
  • Knowledgeable in handling procurement records, purchasing documentation, supplier databases, and transaction monitoring
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and relationship management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and record-management abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple purchasing requirements while meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills when addressing supply and procurement concerns
  • Able to collaborate effectively with various departments and external suppliers
  • Results-oriented and capable of supporting cost-efficiency initiatives
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willing to report onsite

Job Description

  • Oversee purchasing activities from requirement generation through supplier coordination and order completion
  • Source qualified vendors and evaluate potential suppliers based on pricing, quality, service, and delivery performance
  • Request and review supplier proposals, quotations, and commercial offers to support procurement decisions
  • Prepare and process procurement-related documents, purchase orders, and supplier communications
  • Coordinate closely with requesting departments to understand operational and purchasing requirements
  • Track procurement transactions and monitor supplier commitments to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Maintain organized records of vendor information, procurement activities, and purchasing history
  • Assist in developing and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers and business partners
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and recommend opportunities for operational improvement
  • Support negotiations involving pricing structures, delivery schedules, and commercial terms
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies and established procurement procedures
  • Generate procurement reports, monitoring files, and purchasing summaries for management review
  • Carry out additional sourcing, vendor management, and procurement support responsibilities assigned by management
