About The Job
- Perform daily reconciliation of portfolios across positions, cash balances, transactions, and prices.
- Reconcile securities holdings and cash transactions across all portfolios.
- Review, monitor, and escalate exception items within asset and liability schedules.
- Identify, investigate, log, and promptly resolve reconciliation breaks; validate discrepancies against custody statements and system feeds to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain daily and monthly reconciliation files with proper backup, ensuring accurate documentation of reconciliation processes and exception management activities.
- Safeguard data accuracy across reconciliation reporting and administrative tasks.
- Monitor client settlements daily and escalate unresolved exceptions promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate issues and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of reconciliation experience in banking or securities administration.
- Solid understanding of securities instruments, settlements, foreign exchange, derivatives, and core banking processes.
- Experience with AssetMax is preferred; knowledge of complex securities and investment accounting is an advantage.
- Strong client focus with the ability to interpret and meet client requirements.
- Diligent, reliable, and consistent in following structured procedures.
- Skilled in root‑cause analysis and problem resolution, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining thoroughness.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong comprehension.
