Thinking Machines Data Science Inc is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Manager to join our People Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Human Resources Information System to support the overall HR strategy and enhance the employee experience. As the HRIS Manager, you will oversee the system administration, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient HR processes. You will also lead system upgrades, generate insightful reports, and provide training and support to HR staff and employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR technology, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects within a fast-paced accounting environment. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the HRIS system to ensure accurate and secure employee data.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to streamline HR processes through technology solutions.
- Lead HRIS system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features or modules.
- Analyze HR data and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training for HR team members and employees on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and internal policies related to HR technology.
- Identify system issues or inefficiencies and implement remedial actions promptly.
- Support integration of HRIS with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
- Stay current with HRIS technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance HR operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing HRIS systems, preferably in the accounting or data science industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and related integration tools.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and database management.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support end-users effectively.
- Knowledge of employment laws and data privacy regulations applicable to HR systems.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and drive continuous improvements.
