Solid Job Security, Slow Corporate Pace

P&G offers pretty solid job security, especially if you're in a core brand role. It's a big, stable company, but that can also mean things move slowly.


Pros

You generally feel pretty safe here as a Brand Manager, especially working in the Cincinnati office. It's a massive global CPG giant, so company stability is definitely a huge plus. They don't just do mass layoffs without a lot of thought.


Cons

While job security is high, career progression can feel incredibly slow. Sometimes there are reorganizations within categories that can make things uncertain for a bit. You might get moved to a less desired brand, which isn't ideal.


Advice to Management

Focus on speeding up career progression opportunities for high-performing employees. More transparency during restructures would also help alleviate anxieties.

Solid Foundation, But Culture Can Feel Slow

Hybrid Model is Okay for CPG Roles
Pros: You do get some flexibility with the hybrid work model. It's usually 3 days in the Cincinnati office, which is pretty standard for corporate CPG companies. This setup is generally fine for Marketing Associate roles.
