Leadership Is Trying, But Misses Mark Sometimes
I spent a couple years here as a Junior Software Engineer. It was a decent entry-level gig, especially for tech industry newcomers. The leadership team has some good intentions but struggles with consistency and communication.
You get to work with pretty cutting-edge tools for the software development industry. There's a solid team spirit among the developers in the Austin, TX office. It's a good place to learn if you're fresh out of college.
Leadership really struggles with clear direction, which is tough for Junior Software Engineer roles. We'd often get conflicting messages from different managers. Feedback sessions with senior leadership felt more like check-the-box exercises than actual growth opportunities.
Please work on consistent messaging and creating a clearer career path for developers. More direct and constructive feedback from leadership would help a lot.
