Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our high-tech R&D and engineering team, where you will develop cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of semiconductor equipment.
In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team of top‑tier engineers, pushing the boundaries of motion control accuracy, cost-of-goods, thermal stability, dynamic behavior, and mechanical robustness. You will have the freedom to innovate, and the opportunity to influence products that shape the semiconductor industry worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of high‑precision modules and systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
- Translate module requirements into robust mechanical concepts, detailed designs, and validated solutions.
- Develop, review, and support the team to create cost, mass and accuracy critical modules and parts.
- Perform complex analyses (e.g., FEM, thermal, vibration, dynamics) to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate closely with mechatronics, electronics, optics, and manufacturing engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement—in design quality, development processes, and product performance.
- Ensure your designs remain manufacturable, cost‑effective, and compliant with industry standards.
Your Profile
You are an engineering professional with deep technical insight, a pragmatic mindset, and a passion for high‑precision technology. You enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and working in a fast‑paced, cutting‑edge environment.
You bring:
- A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the semiconductor, high‑precision, robotics, or mechatronics domain.
- Proven experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Creo) and simulation software.
- Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in precision engineering principles.
- A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- A structured, quality‑driven approach to engineering challenges.
