The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of procurement strategies to support our business operations.

💼 Role: Procurement & Inventory Executive

A leading value-added distributor of electronic components with a strong presence across Hong Kong, China, ASEAN countries, and India, and regional headquarters in Singapore. The company focuses on demand creation and global supply support, with ongoing expansion across the region and a commitment to innovative solutions and high-performing teams.

This role is based in Penang and focuses on managing procurement planning, inventory analysis, and process optimization to support business operations. The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient procurement activities, maintaining optimal stock levels, and driving continuous improvement across supply chain processes.

• Coordinate engagement sessions with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth and efficient procurement processes.
• Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with overall business strategies and operational objectives.
• Establish procurement targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business growth.
• Analyse inventory levels and forecast future stock requirements to ensure optimal supply.
• Evaluate and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor and review performance data to ensure effectiveness of processes and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to team members when required.
  
  

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge or experience in Oracle system will be an added advantage.
