ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-obsessed eCommerce Specialist to own Helinox’s presence across third-party online retail marketplaces — including REI.com, Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, and emerging channel partners. This is an execution role. You will be the primary owner of the digital shelf for Helinox products, responsible for ensuring every listing is findable, compelling, and converting. You know how retailer search algorithms work, you care about content quality, and you move fast when something needs fixing. Note: Amazon marketplace management is handled by a dedicated team and is not within scope of this role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur. The first 3 months (probation period) will be fully remote. Upon successful completion of probation, the role transitions to full-time office-based work in KL. A minimum 4-hour daily overlap with US Pacific Time is required throughout (PDT Mar–Nov: KL approx. 9pm–1am / PST Nov–Mar: KL approx. 10pm–2am). Candidates must be fully comfortable with and committed to these hours prior to applying.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Shelf Management
- Own and manage Helinox product listings across all assigned retail marketplace platforms — titles, descriptions, feature bullets, images, A+ content, and pricing accurate, optimized, and current at all times.
- Execute new product launches across assigned platforms, coordinating content readiness, SKU setup, pricing alignment, and asset delivery in accordance with GTM timelines.
- Optimize listings for each retailer’s search algorithm — keyword research, title structure, backend attribute tagging, and category placement — to maximize organic discoverability and conversion.
- Monitor and improve PDP quality scores, content compliance ratings, and search rank positioning across all assigned retailer portals.
Performance & Analytics
- Track and report on key eCommerce performance metrics — sales velocity, conversion rate, content score, search rank, and promotional lift — for each assigned marketplace.
- Use retailer analytics portals (Walmart Luminate, REI Partner Portal, Salsify, etc.) to identify trends, surface opportunities, and flag underperforming listings.
- Conduct ongoing competitive monitoring across assigned marketplaces — pricing, assortment, content quality, and promotional activity.
Operations & Coordination
- Partner with the Inventory & Supply Planning Manager to monitor stock availability across marketplace channels, flagging in-stock risks and coordinating replenishment actions.
- Maintain accurate pricing across all platforms in alignment with MAP policy, channel margin targets, and Helinox pricing guidelines.
- Monitor marketplace account health dashboards, ensuring compliance with vendor policies, content standards, and fulfillment SLAs.
- Plan and execute marketplace promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and retailer-specific activations in alignment with the GTM calendar.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience managing product listings across major online retail marketplaces (REI.com, Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, or comparable platforms).
- Strong understanding of digital merchandising principles — PDP best practices, keyword optimization, content hierarchy, and retailer search algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret marketplace analytics and translate data into clear, actionable improvements.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage a large number of SKUs and retailer-specific requirements simultaneously.
- Excellent written English — able to craft clear, compelling product copy tailored to different retailer formats.
- Fluency with AI tools as part of daily workflow.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with PIM or content syndication tools (Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, or equivalent).
- Background in outdoor gear, sporting goods, or a physical product category with seasonal selling dynamics.
- Familiarity with Shopify, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with US-based teams across time zones.
