Why Is This a Great Opportunity
Total Ownership of the Test Ecosystem: You aren't just running a test; you are defining the roadmap. From setting up the physical environment (Structural/System) to managing the software and equipment strategy, you have full control over how the "site level" test operations function.
High-Level Financial & Lean Impact: This isn't just a technical role; it's a business-critical one. By driving cost reduction programs (Gemba/Kaizen) and managing the "Debug Bone-pile" and Scrap Costs, you directly impact the companys bottom line, making your contributions highly visible to management.
Skill Diversification (Hardware + Software): The role keeps you technically sharp by requiring a mix of programming (Python, SQL, Shell Scripting) and hands-on network/server hardware debug. This hybrid skill set is extremely valuable in the current "Software-Defined Hardware" market.
Leadership & Mentorship Path: You are the designated instructor for the floor support, technicians, and operators. This allows you to develop leadership and pedagogical skills, positioning you for future roles as a Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
Strategic Vendor & Client Management: You act as the primary interface between upstream suppliers, equipment vendors, and the customer. This gives you a "big picture" view of the supply chain and helps you build a strong professional network across the industry
