Portfolio Risk Analytics

As a Portfolio Risk Analytics professional at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in shaping the bank's risk management strategy. You'll work with a talented team to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that impact our portfolio. How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to combine technical expertise with business acumen. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their risk management needs and develop analytics solutions that meet those needs. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and be able to communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What you do
- Develop and maintain analytics tools to support portfolio risk management
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform risk management decisions
- Monitor portfolio risk quality and support regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their risk management needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate risk insights to stakeholders
- Involve in Risk Scorecard strategy, monitoring and periodic assessment to ensure effectiveness and predictiveness of the scorecard is still intact
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and apply that knowledge to improve risk management practices
Who you are
- A degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
- At least 3 years of experience in risk analytics or a related field
- Strong technical skills, including programming languages such as Python or R
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
