We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to support our organizational goals in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and talent management strategies that align with business objectives.

💼 Role: Human Resources Business Partner
What You'll Do:
1. Performance Management & Talent Actions
- Drive PMS cycle completion and quality across assigned Business Units.
- Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and documentation.
- Partner with Group PMS Specialist to ensure proper application of PMS frameworks, calibration standards, and performance guidelines.
- Monitor probation and confirmation outcomes and support sound decision-making.
- Ensure underperformance cases have action plans and follow-through in accordance with HR governance.
2. Employee Relations (Level 1)
- Handle employee concerns and grievances and conduct initial fact-finding.
- Recommend appropriate actions and escalate complex or high-risk cases to HR Operations or Chief Talent Officer.
- Work with HR Operations to ensure proper documentation, disciplinary procedures, and policy compliance.
- Support respectful conflict resolution and contribute to a healthy workplace climate.
3. Workforce Planning & Organizational Advisory
- Partner BU Heads on manpower forecasting and organizational structure needs.
- Work with Group Talent Acquisition Specialist to translate manpower plans into hiring priorities.
- Identify attrition risks and recommend retention actions.
- Support succession discussions and internal mobility planning with guidance from Group L&D & Culture Specialist.
4. Engagement & Culture Implementation
- Partner with Group L&D & Culture Specialist to implement engagement and culture initiatives across assigned Business Units.
- Conduct pulse checks and support development of engagement action plans with BU leadership.
- Drive BU-level culture practices aligned with Group values and leadership principles.
- Track engagement outcomes and provide feedback to Group HR on improvement areas.
5. Compensation & Talent Retention Insights
- Provide BU insights on retention risks, salary competitiveness, and reward concerns.
- Partner with C&B Specialist to review salary benchmarking, promotion cases, and retention strategies.
- Support managers in understanding compensation structures and HR policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of HR experience, with exposure to HRBP, employee relations, or performance management.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills when working with line managers.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Ability to balance a people-centric approach with performance discipline.
- Strong writing and documentation skills for HR case summaries and reports.
- Comfortable working across multiple business units and diverse stakeholders.
