Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing information and cybersecurity risk assessments, control testing, and monitoring activities across all ADA locations.
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ADA’s Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework, working closely with the Risk & Compliance and Data Privacy teams.
- Review and support updates to policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and tracking implementation progress.
- Assist in the execution of Axiata Group cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with group-wide cybersecurity strategies and compliance requirements.
- Assist in monitoring security alerts, conducting preliminary analysis, and escalating incidents where required to the Regional Director, IT.
- Support periodic vulnerability assessments, patch validation checks, and follow-up on remediation actions with relevant teams.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating the cyber incident register and documentation.
- Coordinate and support cybersecurity awareness campaigns, internal communications, and staff training in collaboration with the Risk & Compliance and Data Privacy teams.
- Organize and deliver cybersecurity content for new employee onboarding, ensuring strong foundational understanding.
- Help measure and review cybersecurity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and awareness program effectiveness.
- Participate in cybersecurity, compliance, privacy, and risk-related projects and audits, working cross-functionally with IT, Risk & Compliance, and Data Privacy.
- Research emerging threats, security trends, and best practices to support enhancements to ADA’s security posture
- Assist in evaluating new cybersecurity tools, platforms, or technologies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Foundational understanding of information security principles, cybersecurity risks, and governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Basic familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently under the guidance of the Regional Director, IT, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine interest in building a career in cybersecurity.
