- The Finance Operations team plays a critical role in supporting the organisation’s operational and financial processes by ensuring accurate reporting, reliable data management and effective coordination across markets and stakeholders.
About The Role
- The Regional Finance Operations Executive supports the Finance Operations team in managing operational data, reporting and process coordination across the business.
- This role focuses on maintaining accurate databases, preparing operational reports and supporting stakeholders with timely financial and operational information.
- The position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who is comfortable working with large datasets, tracking operational performance and ensuring reporting accuracy.
- The role also requires strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with stakeholders across departments and markets in a fast-paced operational environment.
Core Responsibilities
- A. Reporting & Data Management:
– Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational reports to support business monitoring and decision-making.
– Manage and update company databases to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability.
– Extract information from internal systems to produce scheduled and ad hoc operational reports.
– Transform operational data into structured reports and insights for management and stakeholders.
– Ensure all reporting tasks are completed on time to avoid processing backlogs.
– Provide operational and reporting support to internal stakeholders across departments.
– Respond to stakeholder queries and requests through email and Microsoft Teams in a timely and professional manner.
– Monitor ongoing operational initiatives and projects and attend related meetings where required.
– Identify trends, irregularities or operational issues within data and escalate findings to the Regional Finance Operations Manager.
- C. Process & Quality Control:
– Ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency and timeliness of operational data and reporting outputs.
– Maintain documentation standards and ensure data management processes meet the organisation’s quality and reporting standards.
– Support continuous improvement of operational processes by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting clarity.
- D. Collaboration & Team Support:
– Provide back-up support to team members when required to ensure continuity of operations.
– Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational reporting requirements.
– Support business operations during public holidays when necessary to maintain continuity of reporting processes.
– Perform additional duties and operational assignments as requested by the Regional Finance Operations Manager or Finance leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- A. Education & Experience:
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
– Experience in operations, finance support, reporting or data management roles will be an advantage.
- B. Skills & Competencies:
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and interpret large volumes of data.
– Ability to transform raw data into meaningful reports and operational insights.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
– Working knowledge of Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and basic formulas.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict reporting deadlines.
