KONE South-East Asia team drives KONE elevator and escalator business across the lifecycle of new building solutions, maintenance and modernization. The team leads the execution of KONE’s Rise strategy across six countries in South-East Asia.

This position, Strategy & Transformation Manager, is responsible for leading and managing strategy planning and execution, as well as selected transformation initiatives within KONE South-East Asia frontline. This role works in close collaboration with various stakeholders both within KONE South-East Asia team and within the global Strategy & Transformation function.

Objectives in this role are to ensure the achievement of key strategic targets, build high performance across the countries, and strengthen the organization’s overall strategic planning and transformation capability. This is a critical role in developing KONE’s business in South-East Asia.

This role reports to the Managing Director of KONE South-East Asia. The scope of the role includes operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, we are flexible in terms of location, but preferably this position is in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Lead and manage strategy planning and execution in South-East Asia
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as business lines and finance to ensure alignment and support for strategy execution and transformations.
  • Proactively assess overall strategy progress and transformation impact working closely with Finance and business line teams.
  • Actively manage the roadmap of transformation initiatives supporting the Frontline, and Country teams.
  • Partner with People & Communications to engage people in executing KONE’s strategy.
  • Coach transformation and change management methodologies to leaders and project manager.

Requirements for the position:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively while building strong collaboration and managing diverse stakeholders with confidence.
  • Extensive experience in leading large‑scale transformation initiatives in a global matrix environment.
  • Professional qualifications in project management or related fields are preferred.
  • Problem solving and insight generation relevant to business.
  • Comfortable with data analyses tools e.g. Excel, PowerBI etc.
  • Proven solid expertise in change management and organizational development.
  • Knowledge of leveraging AI agents is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
  • University degree (M.Sc.) in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Full English professional proficiency.
