Job Description
- Lead and manage the accounts payable team for the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Resolve escalated issues related to accounts payable and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts payable activities for the EMEA region.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements in all AP processes.
- Support system implementations and upgrades relevant to accounts payable functions.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to foster a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful AP Team Lead (EMEA) Should Have
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in accounts payable processes and financial operations, withing the Shared Services Industry. (MUST HAVE)
- Prior leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. (MUST HAVE)
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a focus on process automation and improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with stakeholders across regions.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance in all operations.
