Reports To: Financial Controller

Job Summary: The Finance Executive – General Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, preparing financial and tax reports, and ensuring proper account reconciliations and fixed asset management in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post accounting transactions accurately and ensure all entries are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Support the monthly closing process, including the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports within stipulated timelines.Compile, review, and reconcile monthly tax-related reports to ensure timely submission to the relevant tax authorities.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all asset records are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
  • Perform cashiering duties whenever required and ensure proper handling of cash transactions.
  • Be adaptable and willing to take on additional duties as needed to support the team on an ad hoc basis.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates self-management and upholds core values in the workplace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in operating standard office equipment.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
