A well‑known bus and coach manufacturer is seeking a Design Engineer to join the team. This role involves producing and managing accurate technical materials, drawings, and documentation, coordinating with production to ensure vehicles meet customer specifications, sourcing materials and issuing engineering information within required timelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for vehicle projects.
- Develop product designs based on customer requirements.
- Produce 3D models and engineering drawings for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate build specifications.
- Maintain engineering documentation, material records, and design data.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in engineering, or several years of relevant engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Knowledge of CAD software (2D/3D) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and produce accurate technical work.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, teamwork skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
