Data Analytics SAP Datasphere & SAC Consultant (3717)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled SAP Datasphere & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to join our data & analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end data models, virtualizations, and business intelligence solutions leveraging SAP Datasphere and SAC. This role is pivotal in helping organizations unify, transform, and visualize enterprise data across SAP and non-SAP sources.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data models and views in SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
- Develop and manage data connections from various sources (SAP S/4HANA, BW, HANA, external DBs, APIs).
- Create virtual data models (VDMs), semantic layers, and business entities to enable consumption in SAC and other tools.
- Integrate Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for dynamic dashboards, stories, and analytical applications.
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, lineage, security, and compliance within the SAP Datasphere framework.
- Optimize performance of data flows, transformations, and visualizations.
- Support data governance and metadata management practices.
- Stay up to date with SAP’s roadmap and emerging technologies in the Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
- 3+ years in data warehousing, analytics, or BI consulting
- 1–2 years hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud
- Experience integrating with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Technical Skills
- Data modeling & virtualization in SAP Datasphere
- SAC story and analytical application development
- Strong SQL; familiarity with SDI/SDQ & semantic modeling
- Knowledge of SAP HANA, S/4HANA CDS views, BW/4HANA, or cloud data platforms
- Understanding of role-based security, data lineage & audit features
Soft Skills

Preferred
- SAP Datasphere or SAP BTP certification
- Experience with non-SAP sources (Snowflake, Azure, BigQuery)
