Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Key Account Manager - Ecommerce based in Malaysia to drive growth for our client’s new country development team.
Our client is a leading consumer products company with a strong presence across multiple international markets and a diverse portfolio in the beauty and wellness space.
Responsibilities
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce platforms and online retail partners in the respective countries.
- Develop joint business plans with key accounts to drive revenue and market share.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and visibility initiatives in collaboration with business development managers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, ROI goals, and brand visibility objectives across platforms.
Forecasting & Inventory Management
- Monitor sales forecasts and align with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure healthy fill rates and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring
- Analyze sales data, traffic, conversion rates, and competitor activity to improve performance.
- Track KPIs and prepare performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Content & Merchandising
- Coordinate with brand and digital teams to ensure accurate, engaging product content.
- Drive enhanced product content and storefront improvements to maximize consumer engagement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in key account management, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of TikTok is preferred.
- Exposure to e-commerce in either ASEAN or North America markets is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of the Amazon platform with complete P&L management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with data, including P&L understanding, promo ROI, and assortment analytics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high bias for action.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- MBA from a reputed institute.
