1. JOB PURPOSE
To be accountable for the complete process of handling large transactions, from planning and research through to execution and delivery of the deal.
To be responsible and accountable for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To conduct data analysis on projects, refine them and drive the future allocation of the company’s capital resources.
- To support in preparing the financial feasibility studies and financial modelling by using various valuation methodologies, where applicable.
- To support strategic planning and decision-making on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures plans by providing market data to senior management for optimizing financial performance.
- To update and ensure all corporate finance activities are implemented in compliance with new requirements of Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission and other regulatory/statutory requirements.
- To work with cross-functional teams with professional parties and authorities including investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors and tax advisors for all targeted project portfolios to ensure successful implementation of the projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- To prepare reports, investment presentations and board papers on the projects or corporate proposals.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the Company has sufficient liquidity to meet short- and long-term obligations.
4. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Formal Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate level of experience/ achievements
Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant working experience in finance or related roles.
- Financial Modelling
- Project Financing
- Capital Structuring and Valuation.
- Knowledge of Financial Instruments (e.g. Derivatives, Debt-market)
- Financial Risk Assessment
- Cash Flow Management
