Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Revenue Manager role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing room revenue and profitability through effective forecasting, pricing, and inventory management across all distribution channels. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, competitor performance, and booking patterns to recommend and implement rate strategies. The role involves preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align strategies, and managing online distribution and channel performance. The Revenue Manager will also support budgeting and forecasting processes, oversee revenue systems and tools, and ensure adherence to brand standards and financial policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, demand forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in revenue management, including pricing strategy, inventory control, and distribution channel optimization.
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles relevant to hotel operations and profitability.
  • Experience with revenue recognition practices and compliance within the hospitality or related industry.
  • Previous experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role; luxury or lifestyle hotel experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with hotel PMS, RMS, CRS, and OTA extranets; strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
