Principal responsibilities
Operational Management
Financial Operations:
Will own and manage Profit and loss statement and balance sheet of the company.
Will Own And Manage Accounting And Reporting Process Through
Direct interface between country business team and LBSC team to ensure
Efficient and effective accounting processes
Timely and coordinated document movement between country and LBSC
Real time communication between country and LBSC
Liaison with LBSC team on service quality and timelines
Support business finance team in performance measurement activities
Liaises with IS for SAP/other systems implementation and resolution of system issues
Ensure continues education of business team on LBSC processes
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Statutory compliance for audit and other statutory bodies
Taxation Compliance & Governance
Facilitate SST and WHT submission for all entities
Responsible for leading the tax audit
Monitor and lead the preparation of tax return required for local tax compliance
Direct and co-ordinate with government departments for smooth closure of tax assessment
Drive tax planning process to ensure reduce tax liability for the company
Assess performance benchmarks and recommend changes when warranted
Responds to ad-hoc requests from Linde Group Management, Global and Regional Office
Performs other tasks or initiatives as directed by line manager

Required Qualifications/experience
1-3 years of experience in financial operations function with multinational companies
Accounting degree or Finance degree with professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA/ICAEW comparable qualification is preferable)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent Communication, coaching and mentoring skills
Proficient in MS Excel and basic financial tools.
Strong data presentation and PowerPoint skills.
Eagerness to learn, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
