Job Descriptions :
1. Brand Development
• Develop ideas to increase brand awareness.
• Research market trends and competitors.
• Propose marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Support product launches.
2. Partnerships & Business Networking
• Identify and approach potential partners for collaboration and marketing opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers, KOLs, media, agencies, dealers and industry partners.
• Source collaboration opportunities that can enhance brand exposure and market reach.
3. Event & Project Management
• Research and recommend suitable venues.
• Arrange site visits.
• Obtain multiple quotations from venues, suppliers and service providers
• Source event-related requirements including catering, decorations, backdrops, AV equipment, promotional items and gifts.
• Compare pricing and negotiate with suppliers.
• Recruit and coordinate part-time promoters and event crews when required.
• Manage event logistics, timelines and execution requirements.
• Prepare event budgets and recommendations for management approval.
• Oversee approved event execution.
• Prepare post-event reports.
4. Marketing Operations
• Liaise with designers, printers and suppliers.
• Source promotional materials.
• Coordinate production timelines and ensure timely delivery
• Manage marketing inventory.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Education
• Minimum SPM qualification. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Business Administration or related fields will be an advantage.
Experience
• Fresh graduates or candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in marketing, PR, events, exhibitions, roadshows, promotional campaigns or business development will be an advantage.
Skills
• Good interpersonal and networking skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Creative thinker with the ability to suggest new marketing ideas and support promotional activities.
• Good planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate projects effectively.
• Confident in communicating with customers, partners and event participants.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to prepare reports, update documents and manage daily work using office software.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or simple design tools is an advantage.
Additional Requirements
• Possess own transport and valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel throughout Malaysia when required.
• Comfortable working outside the office, attending exhibitions, roadshows and events, including occasional weekends.
• Independent, responsible and proactive in solving problems.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
What Success Looks Like, after 6–12 months, the successful candidate will be able to :
• Independently source and recommend suitable venues, suppliers and event concepts.
• Present well-prepared proposals with cost comparisons and recommendations for management approval.
• Build a network of reliable agencies, influencers, media contacts and business partners.
• Successfully coordinate roadshows, events and marketing campaigns.
• Recruit and manage part-time promoters when required.
• Deliver marketing projects on time and within budget.
• Continuously introduce fresh ideas to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Serve as a trusted extension of the Marketing Manager by handling fieldwork, coordination and relationship management while keeping management informed for key decisions.
