Area of Experience

Computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on API development and integration.

Other Requirement

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of web services and underlying protocols such as HTTP, SSL, OAuth, and JSON.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use.
Integrate third-party APIs into existing systems and applications.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to enhance system functionality and
user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Ensure security protocols are integrated and maintained within API integration.
Work closely with project managers to understand integration needs and provide
feasible solutions.
Document API development processes, including creating user guides and API
documentation for internal and external use.
Conduct API performance tests and optimize as necessary.
