We are seeking a dedicated and ideal R&D Engineer to support our ventilation fan product development initiatives in Malaysia through applied research, innovative design, process optimization, and technical problem-solving.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with technical counterparts, as well as production, quality, and engineering teams, to drive innovations from concept to mass production.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in SolidWorks: surface modeling, assemblies etc, CREO knowledge is an added advantage.
- Able to interpret 2D/3D drawings and bill of materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills and able to handle with minimal supervision.
- Problem solving & have analytical skills.
- Fresh graduates or final year interns are encouraged to apply.
- Able to accept challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess own transport.

Job Descriptions:
- Produce component drawing for fans, arrange for mock unit and liaise with production on fan fabrication before handover for production.
- Working in a team to design new fan series. It includes analysis, component drawing, BOM creation, Movex entries etc.
- Handle custom design, mainly axial (from the design phase until mass production).
- Design structure, jig and any component parts required to complete the task.
- Check/test product or prototype to comply with specifications and intended function.
- Produce GA drawings and 3D IFC drawings.
- As a GA drawing controller for fan products, by ensuring the dimensions and data are correct based on the Systemair standards
Site and Commissioning
- Perform/Support site and commissioning, SAT and PAT
Testing
- Support the FAT mainly in test preparation.
