Working Details:
Position: Graphic Designer
Location: Petaling Jaya
Working mode: Full-time/ Hybrid
Job scope:
- Create social media visuals for Instagram, Facebook and Rednote
- Design posters, ads, brochures, menus and marketing materials
- Work closely with the content team to understand brand direction
- Develop mood boards and visual concepts for new client onboarding
- Contribute to branding work: logos, color palettes, typography systems
- Ensure all designs meet platform specifications and brand guidelines
Quality & Process
- Deliver work on time according to the content calendar and deadlines
- Apply feedback from Creative Director and clients professionally
- Conduct self-QA before submission check sizes, spelling, and visual hierarchy
- Keep design files organised and properly named for easy retrieval
Must-Have
- Minimum 1 year of design experience (agency, freelance, or in-house)
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills — ability to build professional designs from scratch
- Portfolio demonstrating social media design work (IG/FB/Xiaohongshu preferred)
- Eye for typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to understand client briefs and translate them into visuals
- Able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese (for internal team communication)
Requirement:
- Experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Familiar with Xiaohongshu content aesthetics and simplified Chinese copywriting
- Understanding of beauty / medical aesthetics visual language
- Experience with short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Able to understand Chinese and English content
