Pay is okay, benefits need work.
I worked at Silvus Technologies as an RF Engineer for a few years in their Los Angeles office. Overall, the compensation was decent for the wireless communications industry, but I felt the benefits package wasn't quite there yet for a growing mid-sized tech company.
The salary for an RF Engineer is competitive, especially in the Los Angeles area. They have a decent 401k match, which helps for long-term savings in the wireless communications industry.
Health insurance premiums are pretty high for a mid-sized tech company. There aren't many unique perks, which you sometimes see at other companies, and the PTO accrual is just average.
Look into better health insurance options for employees. More competitive PTO from the start would also be a big plus for retention.
