Hybrid flexibility is decent, not groundbreaking
Worked at TP as a Software Engineer for a few years. It's a pretty standard big tech experience when it comes to flexibility.
For a big tech company, the hybrid model actually works pretty well. We get 2-3 days remote work per week, which is good for avoiding the Seattle traffic. There's some flexibility to shift hours a bit if you need to, which helps.
It's not truly flexible if you're looking for full remote work; the company has a firm onsite policy for engineering roles. Sometimes, specific team meetings require everyone in the Seattle office, limiting personal scheduling for Software Engineers.
Consider allowing more flexibility for engineering roles, especially for experienced Software Engineers who consistently demonstrate productivity remotely. It would help with retention.
