Decent work-life balance for tech
As a Software Engineer at F5, the work-life balance is pretty decent, especially if you manage your projects well. It's a big tech company with typical corporate challenges but some good perks.
I liked the hybrid model, giving me some WFH days each week. As a Software Engineer, I generally stuck to 40-hour weeks. The Seattle office is pretty nice too.
Sometimes projects in network security or application delivery can have tight deadlines, pushing hours. There's pressure to deliver, especially closer to release cycles.
Try to smooth out project timelines more. It would help prevent last-minute crunch times for engineers.
