Solid CPG Experience, But Career Growth Can Stall

Working at P&G as a Marketing Analyst gives you great foundational experience in the CPG industry, especially if you're early career. However, the path upward isn't always clear, and it can feel pretty slow sometimes in the Cincinnati office.


Pros

You get solid training and exposure to huge global brands, which is a great resume builder. As a Marketing Analyst in the CPG industry, you learn a ton about market analysis and brand strategy quickly. It's a decent place for entry-level folks to build foundational skills, and the hybrid work model offers some flexibility.


Cons

Career progression here can be really slow once you're past the initial couple of years. There's a lot of competition for higher-level Marketing Analyst roles, and promotions often feel bureaucratic. Vertical moves aren't as common as lateral shifts, especially if you're not in the Cincinnati office headquarters.


Advice to Management
