Leadership needs some work here
It's a tough environment for field teams here. The leadership doesn't always get what we do daily. You're often left to figure things out alone.
Pay and benefits are decent for the industry in Malaysia. You get lots of hands-on experience in elevator installation and maintenance, which is good for career growth. The team in the field, as a Field Service Technician, is pretty solid.
Leadership struggles with communication. There's not much clear direction from the Kuala Lumpur office. Decisions often feel out of touch with actual onsite work, making our job harder.
Spend more time with the field teams. Understand the daily challenges for elevator maintenance. Improve communication and decision-making from the top.
