Pay's Okay, Benefits Need a Boost Here
I've been a Senior Software Engineer at Entrust for a few years. The base pay in the Minneapolis office is pretty competitive for the cybersecurity industry. But honestly, the benefits package isn't as strong as I'd hoped, especially for an established tech company.
Base salary for my senior software engineer position was solid, no complaints there. The 401k match is a good perk, helps with long-term planning. It's a stable corporate job, which is nice.
Health insurance costs feel high, and the coverage isn't super amazing. The annual bonus wasn't always clear or as generous as I've seen with other digital security firms. It's just okay, not great.
Really look into those health insurance premiums; they're a bit much. Also, try to make the bonus structure more predictable and impactful for employees. It'll help keep good people.
