Culture is Okay, Needs Some Work
My time as a Financial Analyst at Doo Group was a mixed bag, especially regarding the company culture. It's not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement.
My colleagues in the London office were usually supportive. You'll definitely learn a lot if you're new to the fintech industry. Team events were infrequent but fun when they happened.
The company culture can feel pretty rigid. There isn't much encouragement for new ideas, which makes it tough for an onsite role. Communication from leadership isn't always clear or consistent.
Management should really focus on fostering a more open and innovative company culture. Encourage feedback from employees, especially those in financial analyst roles, and act on it. Clearer communication would help a lot.
