Decent Pay for a Hybrid ERP Role

Working at Annata as a Business Analyst offered a stable environment, but the compensation structure could use improvement. The benefits are standard, nothing exceptional. It's a fine place for steady work if you're not chasing big bonuses.

Pros

The base salary for a Business Analyst in Copenhagen is pretty decent, it's competitive with other mid-sized tech companies in the ERP solutions space. They offer a solid pension plan and the health benefits are standard for Danish companies, which is a big plus.

Cons

Annual raises are really small here, sometimes barely keeping up with inflation. Don't expect huge bonuses, even for working on complex automotive industry software projects, which can be frustrating. There aren't many extra perks or unique benefits beyond the basics for ERP solution specialists.

Advice to Management

Review the compensation structure, especially for experienced ERP solution specialists. Better annual raises and performance bonuses would boost morale and retention across the company.

Decent remote role, but flexibility is tough
Pros: It's nice that they offer remote work for us Software Developer roles. The team I work with on Dynamics 365 projects is super collaborative. You get to dig into some interesting ERP implementation challenges.
Cons: True flexibility for my remote from Seattle role isn't really there. My manager expects pretty strict 9-5 hours, which feels corporate. It's hard to deal with personal appointments without feeling guilty, even for a mid-sized software company.
Advice to Management: Encourage more trust in employees to manage their own time. Acknowledge that 'remote' means more than just working from home, especially for software development roles. True work flexibility improves morale and productivity.
